Meet Megan Papadopoulos,
Founder, Realized Home Decision Design & Planning
I have lived in Raleigh with my family for almost 15 years. I graduated from UNC Kenan-Flagler and have over 10 years of professional experience in portfolio planning, project management, branding, and designing advertising campaigns featured on TV and in magazines. Before then, my career began as a researcher and molecular biologist in RTP.
My life has always been guided by curiosity and connecting the dots. Whether in science, business, or helping people think differently about their homes, I’ve been drawn to understanding how things work, finding patterns, and making sense of complexity to realize a clear path forward.
After spending a decade managing creative and design projects on a global scale, I’ve turned my experience and passions toward supporting the local community and families in the Triangle.
My vision is to make interior design more approachable and accessible. My mission is to raise awareness of the concept of “decision fatigue”, help people strengthen their prioritization skills, simplify design processes, and advocate for homes you see in the pages of family albums.
